Laxman Jhula
This ancient bridge was raised in 1939. It is 450 feet long and hangs 70 feet over the river Ganga. As per Hindu mythology, this is the place where Lakshmana once crossed the river Ganges using a jute rope. Later, this bridge was constructed on the very same place. Today it remains busy all day long and remains a connecting bridge for various places in Rishikesh.

Neelkanth Mahadev Temple
This temple stands at a height of 1675 meters. It is the holiest temple of Rishikesh dedicated to Lord Shiva. It is said that the temple is raised on the place where lord Shiva drank the Venom when Devas and Asuras churned the ocean.

Triveni Ghat
Triveni Ghat is the most popular ghat of the town where hundreds of pilgrims visit every day to take a holy bath. It is the place where three sacred rivers - Ganga, Yamuna and Saraswati
meet. Here a grand Ganga aarti is hosted in the evening which soothes your mind and soul. After the aarti, pilgrims place enlightened diyas along with leaf boats on the river as an offering to Ganga.

Tryambakeshvar Temple
Tryambakeshvar Temple is another popular temple of the city dedicated to the three-eyed Lord Shiva. It is very close to Lakshman Jhoola and is 13-storeys high.

Parmarth Niketan
This renowned ashram was founded in 1942 by Pujya Swami Shukdevanand Ji Maharaj. Thousands of pilgrims visit here to experience its sacred ambience and powers of yoga.
