Har Ki Pauri
Har ki Pauri is the most popular place to visit in Haridwar. Har ki Pauri means the Lord's Footsteps. It is the most visited ghat of the city where travellers flock to enjoy a bath in the holy river Ganga to wash away their sins. During evening hours, a grand Ganga aarti is hosted here where pilgrims worship Goddess Ganga and leave beautiful clay lamps on the shimmering waters of the river. This area is also a location of the grand Kumbha Mela.

Bharat Mata Temple
The foundation of Bharat Mata Temple was laid by Swami Satyamitranand Giri. This temple is unique as it is dedicated to Mother India. Deities displayed here have historical legends associated with them. It has 8-storeys each dedicated to different gods and legends like Bharat Mata, heroes of India, achievements of women, various saints, etc.

Chandi Devi Temple
Chandi Devi Temple is dedicated to Chandi Devi, a form of the Hindu deity Durga. The temple is an ancient one and is visited by thousands of travellers from all parts of the country. The festival brims with travellers during the festival of Navratra and the Kumbha Mela.

Maya Devi Temple
Maya Devi Temple is dedicated to Goddess Mansa, a form of Shakti. The temple dates back to the 11th century AD. The temple can be accessed by taking a cable car ride or by taking a trek on foot.

Daksha Mahadev Temple
This shrine is a tribute to a Hindu mythological legend which says that King Daksha Prajapati, father of Parvati, hosted a yaga where he did not invite Lord Shiva. When Lord Shiva visited here uninvited, Daksha Prajapati insulted him. Parvati self-immolated herself in the yagna kund in anger. The temple is a popular Shiva temple and offers seamless spirituality.
