The Nohkalikai Waterfalls, which is the fourth highest fall in India, is among a popular tourist attraction. The ideal time to visit the fall is during the monsoon season. It's advisable to avoid a visit to Cherrapunjee during the peak monsoon season. September to January are the best months to bask in the natural beauty of Cherrapunjee. The local festival of Nongkrem Dance celebrated during the months of October-November, attract good number of tourists.
