Jampui Hills
The highest range of hills in the state of Tripura, Jampui Hills offers amazing views of the beautiful valleys. Every year in the month of November the Orange Tourism festival is celebrated.

Kumarghat
Situated in the North of Tripura Kumarghat is famous for its vast pineapple cultivation. A famous tourist spot here is the Venuban Vihar which was built by Magadha King Bimbisar.

Neermahal
This beautiful lake palace offers beautiful blend of Hindu and Mughal architecture which can be noticed on the domes of the palace. There are mainly two parts of the palace - one on the western side known as Andar Mahal which was used by the royal family and another on the eastern side which was used for the security personnel and servants.

Best time to visit Tripura
The best time to visit Tripura is between October to May when the weather remains pleasant. March to May mark the summer season and temperature touches a high of 25 degree Celsius. Monsoon season starts from June and continues till September, with extremely heavy rains pouring the region. The state faces winters from October to February, with temperature touching its lowest at 10.5 degree Celsius.

By Air: The Agartala Airport in Tripura is the nearest airport, and is well connected to Kolkata and Guwahati by direct flights.

By Train: The nearest railway station to Tripura is Kumarghat. The Kumarghat station is connected to the railheads of Kolkata, Delhi, Indore, Chennai and Bangalore.

By Road: There are state and private buses to ply a decent service to the visitors.
