Kondapalli Fort
This 14th-century fort is in the Kondapalli village. People visit here to enjoy day picnic amidst its breathtaking vistas. It was raised by the Musunuri Nayaks in a beautiful architectural style. Its interiors feature a reservoir, Golconda Darwaza, Dargah of Gareeb Saheeb, etc. Kondapalli Toys are very popular around the fort and one can see vendors selling them. This form of craft represents the 400-year-old tradition of the region.
Mogalarajapuram Caves
These ancient caves date back to 5th century. This is a famous landmark place in Vijayawada and is mostly in ruins today. These caves have both religious and spiritual values as here you can see idols of Lord Nataraja and Lord Vinayaka.
